The Hanbury Arms
There’s nothing immediately exceptional about the Hanbury Arms. But it gradually reveals its charms. The mix of old furniture is comfortable rather than high-concept, the pizza oven is big, the jukebox is free and well-stocked with modern classics and the selection of craft beers is good.
A warm welcome and very friendly greeting for the dog (who is likely to get a bowl of water before you get your own drink) sets the tone.
The pizzas are very good indeed, the jukebox reveals itself to be even better than expected and the fine selection of craft beers turns out to be well looked after.
